anyone have any tips on non-traditional/groovy looking holiday cards that are also affordable? i'm steering away from the snapfish/winflash, etc. groups ~ they look so contrived and boring.
any ideas would be appreciated.
thanks!

Re: holiday cards
Wed, December 10, 2008 - 3:05 PMJust go out and shoot one yourself. I used to make my own with my brand of humor. One year I wrote "Happy Holidays" across my ass and mooned the camera in front of a Christas tree and fireplace. Another year I was in front of a holiday setting with my pants and underwear down around my ankles with me holding a present in front of 'my goods' and thrusting foward, while the card said "Fuck the holidays." Another year I got dressed up in a Santa suit, stood at a three-quater angle with my back to the camera, and squoze yellow gatorade from a bottle, while making it look like Santa was peeing on a Christmas tree. But hey, that's just MY version of holiday greetings.
Yeah I know, probably NOT what you wanted to read..... -

Re: holiday cards
Wed, December 10, 2008 - 3:06 PMOh, and then there was the time where I got friends of mine to dress up as Hassidic Jews and had them pose joyfulfully unwrapping Christmas gifts in front to a tree and fireplace, complete with poinsettas and holly. I'll see if I can find and post that one. -
